Audit Engagement

The process starts with an SMSF Audit Engagement letter. To avoid any misunderstandings between the client and the auditor, the engagement letter should be sent before the commencement of the audit. Engagement letter confirms that the auditor has accepted the appointment and also covers the scope involved during the whole audit process along with the Auditors responsibilities.

Provide us the Files

Once engaged in the Audit Process, we will provide you with a checklist and the documentation templates to make the documentation process easier and efficient for you.

You can email or post us your files, share your DropBox folder with us, so you have options to choose from as per your convenience.

Once the audit is completed, we will produce an Audit Report for your record which can be used by the client to lodge at ATO office.

Review of Audit Files

At Reliable SMSF Audit we perform both Financial and Compliance Audit.  We believe in quality, an approved SMSF Auditor will check if your funds comply with the latest super laws and check if the statements are correct.

The auditor performs the audit and provides you with insight about your fund’s progression and also provides information regarding the compliance to the existing laws.

While performing the audit, any issues we uncover will be communicated to the client via approved contact means either telephone or e-mail, so that the client can address them promptly.

SMSF Audit Performed

SMSF Auditor will check if your funds are compliant to the latest super laws and the financial statements are correct. The audit should provide you with information on how the fund is progressing and should also provide compliance with the existing laws. This audit is performed by an ASIC Approved SMSF Auditor.

We perform the audits generally within 5 working days. In certain situations depending on the client documentation, the audit could take longer than expected. Please be patient while we are performing audit and we will get back to you with the audit or raise queries via approved contact means of telephone or electronic mail.

SMSF Audit Finalized

Once the audit is completed, we will produce an audit report for your record which can be used by the client to lodge at ATO office.
